Meet Dr. Day

I am a practising emergency medicine specialist working at a tertiary trauma hospital.  I am also a co-Director of Emergency Medicine training, and examiner for the Australasian college for Emergency Medicine (ACEM).  I have  completed the coaching accreditation program through Growth Coaching International and am an accredited coach practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).  I am also the proud mother of 2 teenage sons with my wonderful husband and a menagerie of pets! 

Coaching can be so powerful to unlock potential - truly transformative.  I was drawn to coaching through my interest in trainee wellbeing and support.  I am constantly impressed and inspired by the people I work with and I truly do believe the best of people and love that coaching at its core is a belief in the best in people and remaining curious to support them to unlock their own potential.  I believe that everyone has the capability to succeed in their career and their goals but sometimes we all need a little guidance and support to get there. My coaching approach is supportive, strength based and  solution focused to empower my clients to identify their strengths and any roadblocks to overcome their challenges to achieve their goals.
